A short term study programme offered to UTAR students to pursue academic exchange or training/ internship in local/partner institution and to gain a global learning experience.
With the slogan “Explore the World, Experience the Diversity!” we are excited to announce the 2020 UTAR International Day event at UTAR Kampar campus! The international students and exchange students will join us together in the event to showcase the unique culture by respective economies. The aim of the event is to promote the Internationalization at Home and UTAR student mobility programme such as Student Exchange, Study Tour, Oversea Internship opportunities.
In order to achieve the goals of internationalization, UTAR is organizing the UTAR International Day at Kampar Campus, which was initiated by DCInterNet, co-organized with DSA, DSSC and DISS. The theme of the event is “Diversity Cultural for Generation” which encourages UTAR students to build the global networks and gain some international exposure and learning which propels students towards acceptance and understanding of an array of different cultural and community perspectives.
UTAR students have the opportunity to exchange ideas with the international students, play mini games, and learn foreign language, experience hands’on activities and cultural exhibition. This event also includes student exchange programme sharing sessions, professional talks and mobility programme briefing. A total of 16 economies will be presenting their unique culture, such as: Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, Japan, China, Taiwan, Macau, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Maldives, Mauritius, Yemen, Myanmar, Korea, Germany, Malaysia and etc.

All UTAR Students participating in overseas student mobility activities including semester exchange, faculty-led study tours, short-term overseas partner programmes, overseas internships and overseas placements must be covered by an adequate level of insurance for the entire duration of their time overseas.
