Guideline of Silverlake-UTAR Sponsorship for Outbound Student Mobility Programme

A. Eligibility
1. The Silverlake-UTAR Sponsorship for Outbound Student Mobility Programme is only applicable for the following approved programmes:1.1 Student Exchange for One Semester and above
1.2 Internship in Overseas Universities
1.3 Study Tours / Field Trip of an Academic Course
2. Full time students with normal enrolment status (not under probation) who apply for academic credit transfer or to do internship in overseas universities are eligible to apply for this sponsorship.
3. Students who have received other forms of financial assistance and/or scholarship/sponsorship for the outbound programmes from UTAR, local or overseas institutions are not eligible to apply.
4. Students are allowed to apply for this sponsorship one time only during their studies in UTAR.
B. Quantum of Sponsorship
The quantum of sponsorship is disbursed as follows:1. For student(s) who apply for:
1.1 Student exchange for one semester and above
1.2 Internship in overseas Universities

C.Application Procedures
Applicants shall submit their completed Application Form for sponsorship to One Stop Centre for Student Mobility Programme for processing, with recommendation from faculty, preferably TWO (2) WEEKS before departure date.
Students who qualify for more than one position or achievement in any one category are eligible for only ONE and the HIGHEST sponsorship.
The decision by the University shall be deemed final.
